BRITONS waste 18 hours a year popping out of the office to buy ‘proper’ takeaway coffees, a survey has revealed.

And with the average weekly pay packet of £500, the habit costs bosses £250 a year per employee. With 32million employees, that equates to a £8billion a year – or 0.4 per cent of the UK’s GDP. The study, by Honest Coffees, found on average we dart out at least once a week for 22 minutes.
