Harry styles it just like Jagger

Same clothes. Same pout. Even the same taste in women. No wonder Mick’s fed up with his 1D mini-me

HE HAS foppish good looks, a rock-star pout and has already amassed a staggering £56million fortune in just seven years. But as Harry Styles is learning, you can’t always get what you want. The 23-year-old One Direction singer has confessed to a bizarre obsession with Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger – and is said to be so determined to emulate his idol that he will go to endless lengths to mimic the 73-year-old rock legend.

Friends of Harry have expressed their astonishment at his quest, which has involved copying everything about Sir Mick, from his legendary pout and clothes, to perfecting the same lazy drawl when he speaks.

He has even taken special dance lessons in order to ape Jagger’s gyrations and has been spotted rummaging through second-hand stores for suitable vintage fashion wear.

Despite their 50-year age difference, Jagger is, according to Harry, ‘the coolest man on the planet’.

Last week, Styles even performed an impromptu comic impersonation of his idol on US chat show Saturday Night Live alongside host Jimmy Fallon, while promoting his first solo single Sign Of The Times. But if Harry hoped that imitation would amount to the sincerest form of flattery, he may have a little more work to do to convince Sir Mick.

While Jagger is said to view the attention as ‘quite sweet’ and ‘rather flattering’, friends of the star add: ‘It’s a bit odd and Mick is somewhat nonplussed by the whole thing.’

After all, Jagger has grandchildren older than the young pretender…
