The Brexit victims left in the dark

I hope readers who have been overwhelmed with information on the snap Brexit election will spare a thought for the 2.9million EU citizens in this country who are uncertain about their future and unable to vote. As Theresa May has failed to give them any guarantee about their right to stay, the matter is likely to be dragged out for the next two years. Could not each major party state now that all EU citizens currently here should be allowed to retain their rights to live and work in the UK?
