The real polluters

I read with interest your article last week on ice-cream vans being pinpointed for spewing out pollutants. In my area, huge trucks and diggers go up and down the beach shifting the shingle from place to place. Surely these enormous diesel vehicles pump out fumes as well? Jean Cutting, Folkestone
