WHAT is a girl to do when things get tricky on the home front? Why, take to Instagram, of course, to post snaps that make it clear just how much fun single life can be.

Former pop star Louise Redknapp has appeared laughing and joking around with friends in a series of social media pictures, amid reports that she is living apart from ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp, her husband of 19 years.

Sources close to the couple have suggested that Louise, 42, rediscovered her ‘mojo’ during her dazzling performances in last year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Enjoying her new-found celebrity status, she is said to have formed close bonds with her fellow contestants, particularly party-loving model Daisy Lowe, 28.

Following her success on Strictly, Louise seems happy to be out on her own, as her recent posts reveal. In one, she is pictured with Daisy and other friends sipping cocktails at a meeting of their ‘book club’ at the ultra-fashionable Society Club in East London.

She’s been on a glamping adventure with the girls and a solo sunshine beach break to Spain, leaving Jamie, now a Sky Sports football pundit, to care for their sons – Charley, 14, and Beau, nine.

Getting in tip-top shape is a traditional parting shot to a strained relationship – and Louise has been counting off the calories during boxercise sessions. She posts snaps of her workouts on social media and has flaunted her toned physique as the cover star of May’s issue of Women’s Health magazine.

And as if to confirm her independence, she has even done a spot of car maintenance, releasing a snap of her pumping up a tyre.
