ANOTHER unpredictable season is on the horizon, with some huge games in the opening few weeks. Watch last season’s title-challenging heavyweights clash as Spurs take on Chelsea in their first Wembley home league game – with coaches Pochettino and Conte desperate to prove their championship winning credentials early on in the season.

Meanwhile, 17 September sees the first return to Old Trafford for Everton’s former United legend Wayne Rooney, with the striker desperate to show Jose Mourinho what he’s missing. Don’t miss these two monumental clashes, part of 126 live games throughout the 2017/18 season on the new dedicated Sky Sports Premier League.

THERE is life after the Premier League, as Hull City, Middlesbrough and Sunderland will find out with the start of the Championship season.

Can last season’s top-flight strugglers return at the first time of asking, or will other contenders — including John Terry’s Aston Villa and last season’s beaten play-off finalists Reading — emerge to lead the charge?

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo also prepare to do battle once again as Real Madrid and Barcelona vie for the La Liga title. Don’t rule out Atletico Madrid, who are a constant thorn in the side of Spain’s big rivals.

Sky Sports Football is the place to see the EFL, SPFL, La Liga, World Cup Qualifiers and more.

SEE out another fine summer of English cricket, with new captain Joe Root looking to lead his England side to victory against the West Indies in this three test series.

Will Root, Alastair Cook, Jimmy Anderson and co be able to cement their position as one of the world’s best test nations or can Jason Holder’s men, with raw young, exciting talents including Shai Hope and Kraigg Braithwaite spring a surprise?

Find out on Sky Sports Cricket, which is the only place to see live coverage of all England home internationals.

On top of that, the T20 Blast reaches its conclusion as the best Twenty20 sides the country has to offer — featuring international legends Brendon McCullum, Kumar Sangakkara and Shahid Afridi — battling it out for the prestigious title.

WE may be more than halfway through the golf season but there’s still plenty to look forward to.

Next month, there’s the return of the Solheim Cup pitting Europe’s finest ladies, like Melissa Reid and Charley Hull, against their American counterparts. Swedish legend and Europe captain Annika Sorenstam will be desperate to regain the trophy narrowly lost two years ago, but in her way lies Juli Inkster, aiming to become the first captain to win successive trophies since Judy Rankin in 1998. There’s also plenty more PGA golf to watch out for, notably the FedEx Cup play-offs where world No1 Dustin Johnson will need to ward off the challenge of Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and 2017 major winners Sergio Garcia and Brooks Koepka to secure the $10million jackpot prize.

Watch the Majors as well as the European and PGA Tours on Sky Sports Golf.

YOU simply can’t take your eyes off of this year’s Driver’s Championship as we hit the halfway point of the 2017 season.

Lewis Hamilton’s sublime home victory last time out at Silverstone has split the title race wide open, with Ferrari’s Sebastien Vettel now only narrowly clinging on to a one-point lead.

Next up on the calendar is a trip to the Hungaroring in Hungary where Hamilton reigned supreme back in 2016. Can he repeat his feat of last year and return to the top of the Championship leaderboard? Or will Vettel and teammate Valtteri Bottas have other plans and scupper the Brits hopes? There’s plenty more great racing after Hungary with the circuit moving on to Italy, Japan and Mexico. One thing’s for sure, there will be many twists and turns before the season is out! Watch every race for the rest of the Formula 1 season, with award-winning coverage on Sky Sports F1.

WERE you gripped by Lions fever this summer as New Zealand and the British and Irish Lions played out one of the most historic series of all time? Well there’s plenty more where that came from this year on the international Rugby calendar. In the Autumn internationals, England face Argentina for the first time since their 2-0 away series victory this summer and this time will have key Lions including Owen Farrell back to strengthen the side – with Australia and Samoa waiting in tow too. On the tennis court, world No1 Andy Murray will look to bounce back from a disappointing, injuryridden grass-court season ahead of August’s Montreal and Cincinnati Masters, trophies the Brit has been very familiar with over the years. Not only that, just a month later we have the return of the NFL as 32 teams battle it out for a place at this season’s Super Bowl. Sky Sports Action & Sky Sports Arena is bringing you tons of live sport with the best action from International and European Rugby Union, Rugby League, Tennis, Boxing, NFL, GAA, Darts and WWE.
