Keeping up with Kim Kardashian? No, boasts F1 heiress Tamara

- by Katie Hind

WITH a palatial £70million home, 14 ludicrously over-pampered pets and an enviably glossy, jet-setting lifestyle you might think she must have it all.

Yet there is one thing Formula 1 heiress Tamara Ecclestone apparently is still craving – and that is fame.

Indeed, such is her appetite for attention that she has now set her sights on overtaking the undisputed queen of reality television, Kim Kardashian.

The glamorous eldest daughter of Bernie Ecclestone is launching her own rival reality show – and insiders claim it’s so extravagant it will make the long-running Kardashians drama, for years the gold standard in lavish excess, ‘look bland’.

Tamara, 33, and worth an estimated £300million, is certainly not known for her restrained approach to daily life and is opening each one of the gold doors of her opulent 57-room Kensington mansion – known as Tamara’s Towers – to a camera crew for the six-episode ITV show.

The show is named Tamara’s World, in a tongue-in-cheek nod to the long-running BBC science and technology programme.

‘Tamara knows Kim,’ a source close to the programme said.

‘She watches the Kardashians so wants to make this as interesting as she can. It will have everything and more.’

Just like Kim, who has allowed the cameras to intimately chart the lives of North and Saint, her two children with rapper Kanye West, Tamara will thrust her three-year-old daughter Sophia, known affectionately as Fifi, into the spotlight.

The series, which starts on November 15, can be seen on ITV Be, the network’s reality TV channel. And while Tamara (pictured right beside her rival) hopes to increase her fame, so do ITV, who are apparently ‘looking for their next big star’.

Kim certainly has a head start with her gift for global selfpromotion, so can multi-millionaire Tamara match her in the battle of the broadcast bling? Here’s our verdict...
