Get to the point! Lady W’s 400 words on how to skewer bits of fruit

-

IT SEEMS Lady Weymouth has been taking a leaf out of Pippa Middleton’s party planning book Celebrate.

Enterprising Emma, 31, wife of Ceawlin Thynn, Viscount Weymouth, heir to the Longleat estate, has penned a 400word recipe and blog about, er, fruit on a stick.

In pearls of wisdom to rival Pippa’s classic advice to freeze water in order to make ice, the Viscountess (right) instructs: ‘Chop your strawberries into smaller bitesize chunks. Ensuring you can still put the piece of fruit on to a skewer. Simply skewer your fruit, starting from the bottom and building your way up to the top.’

‘You can even mix up the fruit,’ she adds in the blog, which proudly features a snap of the results, below.

Of course keeping it simple can be a winning recipe. After all, Delia Smith minted a fortune telling us how to boil an egg!
