Blame The X Factor, Sharon
I laughed when I read Sharon Osbourne say in Event magazine last week: ‘There are no personalities any more. You don’t get these working-class kids like Ozzy who give it hell. And I miss that.’ Did she say that with a straight face? What does she think has been responsible for the death of individuality in the music industry? Her own show, The X Factor, which has given us years of forgettable, whiney singers and an industry over-run with kids with more money than talent. If Sharon (left) can work on a show that propels people like Jedward to fame, she has no right to comment on music’s lack of personalities. Sue Wilding, Scarborough
Sharon Osbourne said her cosmetic surgery has been for her, not some man. I love that stance. I never leave the house without make-up, not for anyone else but because it makes me feel better. V. de Bheal, London
