The Office, first aired in 2001, launched the careers of Ricky Gervais, Martin Freeman and Mackenzie Crook. They will get together next year for the first time in ages to do a Norton special and will pen a 20th anniversary episode after that. Mackenzie told me at the Virgin Media BPG awards: ‘We’ve been busy but there are plans to sort a reunion episode. I owe everything to that show.’
