In her You magazine interview last week, One Show presenter Alex Jones (left) spoke of the exhaustion she suffered after giving birth for the first time, aged 39. But she has a nanny and a car to take her to work. What about the regular exhausted mothers who, after sleepless nights, have to get their other children up, washed, dressed, fed and walked to school in the rain? They don’t have the luxury of a nanny and a chauffeur-driven car to take them to work; they are possibly doing a couple of night shifts somewhere.
