Rapper ex asks heiress Kate ‘Want your teeth knocked out?’
KATE ROTHSCHILD’S relationship with her former boyfriend Jay Electronica has taken a strange turn after the rapper sent her a message asking if she wanted her ‘teeth knocked out’.
Banking heiress Kate posted a picture of herself on social media with American journalist Derek Blasberg – described as a ‘professional friend to the stars’ and host of TV show CNN Style – joking about his ‘smouldering’ looks. Blasberg, 36, commented on the picture, calling Rothschild ‘my wife’.
This prompted Jay, 41, to write: ‘Who wants their teeth knocked our first?’ followed by the staring eyes emoji. He later deleted the comment.
If Jay really was incensed by Kate’s post, he may have had the wrong end of the stick, given that Blasberg, pictured below, is known to be gay. It’s the most recent turn in a tumultuous romantic history for Kate, 35. Her nine-year marriage to multi-millionaire Ben Goldsmith broke down acrimoniously in 2012 when she started an affair with Jay, real name Timothy Elpadaro Thedford. Ben and Kate had married in 2003 and had three children. Jay and Kate then split in 2014, with the rapper moving back to the US. Kate is now dating entrepreneur Paul Forkan, 28. The latest spat comes a month after Kate’s home in Barnes, West London, was burgled, with £500,000 worth of jewellery and antiques taken. Jay Electronica did not respond to requests for a comment.
