Secret of her radiant complexion

-

AS THE make-up artist on speed dial to the Royal Family, Hannah Martin is entrusted with helping them look radiant on the biggest days of their lives. Little wonder, then, that Princess Eugenie chose Hannah to be by her side on her last morning as a single woman. Ever since helping Kate Middleton prepare to walk down the aisle in 2011, Hannah – a make-up artist for Bobbi Brown – has found her skills are greatly in demand. Her signature style focuses on creating a radiant, naturallooking complexion with a rosy glow – and she certainly achieved that for Princess Eugenie.

SKIN

Prior to her wedding, Eugenie visited Luke Hersheson’s West End salon for a state-ofthe-art ‘light salon’ facial. The treatment uses LED light therapy to increase collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production, which enhances the complexion.

Her skin certainly looked flawless on Friday, with a hint of her natural freckles showing through. Hannah is a fan of using Bobbi Brown’s Vitamin Enriched Face Base (£44) on her clients, while Bobbi Brown Corrector Concealer evens out skin tone.

EYES

To emphasise the colour of Eugenie’s blue-grey eyes, Hannah avoided black eyeliner and used brown tones, which are much softer and more flattering. To complement this, the Princess is also wearing multiple layers of mascara and has had her brows darkened to frame her face.

LIPS

Eugenie kept her lip colour natural and glossy. Hannah is likely to have used a Bobbi Brown Lip Pencil (£18) in Pale Peach or Pale Pink to define lip shape, and favours a sheer lipstick such as Luxe Lip Colour (£28).

CHEEKS

It appears Hannah used Bobbi Brown’s award-winning Pot Rouge (£22) to create a natural flush on Eugenie’s cheeks. The multi-tasking lip and cheek colour should be dabbed on to the apples of the cheeks and blended with fingertips for a subtle, youthful glow.

HAIR

The Princess turned to Sonnie Jo Macfarlane to create her gently tousled style.

Working with the stunning Greville emerald and diamond tiara, the pair devised a contemporary style with centre parting, faceframing tendrils and a low, twisted chignon at the nape of the neck.
