The Scottish Mail on Sunday

Your MoS smashes sales records again!

-

THE Mail on Sunday has smashed retail sales records by achieving our highest-ever market share – for the fifth month running.

Our average weekly sale in January was 950,000 – an increase of 17,000 copies in the space of just a month.

Figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations reveal that we now enjoy a record 22.7 per cent share of the Sunday newspaper market – 0.8 per cent higher than last year.

It means more than 25p in every £1 spent on Sunday papers now goes on a copy of The Mail on Sunday.

Some 660 copies of the paper were sold every minute on Sundays in January.

And the success continues. We put on 34,000 extra sales last week thanks to our serialisation of Tom Bower’s damning exposé of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn – plus a world exclusive that revealed the Duchess of Sussex’s devastating letter to her father.

The Daily Mail is also breaking records with more than 25.6 per cent of the daily market.

Our achievement is all down to a perfect mix – great journalism, agenda-setting news, fantastic sports coverage, two brilliant magazines, the brightest columnists and agenda-setting campaigns such as ‘Save Our Parks’, which today announces a stunning victory in forcing the Government to inject £13million to support Britain’s open spaces (see Page 29).

True success on Sunday.
