Prue Leith: Journey With My Daughter Tuesday, Channel 4, 9pm

She’s famed as the doyenne of The Great British Bake Off, but more than 40 years ago, Prue Leith (pictured, right) made a very brave decision that changed her life: to adopt a baby girl rescued from the catastrophic bloodshed in the killing fields of Cambodia. Together, Li-Da and Prue embark on an epic journey to South-East Asia that reveals the grim truth about one of the most terrible chapters in modern history, the murderous regime of Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge – but they may also find glimmers of hope for the future.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Celebrity Special Sunday, ITV, 7pm

You shouldn’t need to phone a friend or ask the audience to answer the following question: what do Welsh singing wonder Charlotte Church, former fleet-footed footballer John Barnes and Pointless co-host Richard Osman have in common? As there are only three of them, you can’t opt for 50/50 either, but then again, you should have worked out by now that they’re the celebrities trying to win as much money as possible for their chosen charities. Jeremy Clarkson is the man posing the steadily more tricky questions. Our money is on Osman walking away with the most cash

– but the other two may yet spring a surprise.

The Turner Prize-winner presents a new series from his studio, in which each week he’ll be creating a work of his own, while also putting on display submissions from members of the public, and he’ll be chatting with other artists and celebrity guests too. It’s an inspirational invitation for you to get in touch with your inner artist and tap into your untapped creative juices.

MasterChef Wednesday-Friday BBC1, 9pm

And then there were three... after eight weeks it all comes down to one climactic final week’s contest, as the trio of surviving competitors left from the 60 hopefuls who were there at the start of the series vie to claim the crown as this year’s triumphant amateur cook. First (on Wednesday) they fly out to Mauritius to cook in the kitchens of a luxury hotel. Then, back in Britain (on Thursday), the challenge is creating pastries under the expert eye of one of the world’s greatest chefs, be fore (on Friday) serving up the greatest meal of their lives to judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace (pictured, above).
