I am a staunch Conservati­ve voter but even I am in absolute despair at the way the Government is continuous­ly flounderin­g in this crisis.

Right from the beginning, when our son returned from America in March and walked through unchecked at Gatwick, we spoke about the lunacy of our approach.

Are we witnessing the slow but inevitable decline of Boris Johnson? Without doubt, the Covid-19 situation has taken its toll on a hapless Government.
