After Lily, Dominic has split… with his PR

-

HE’S managed to hang on to his marriage despite being embroiled in a romance scandal, but Dominic West t is still having to cope with an unfore- seen split... from his publicists.

While it looks like his partnership p with wife Catherine FitzGerald will l survive his cosy encounters with Lily James in Rome, the star of The Affair now finds himself without a PR adviser.

And after making some questionable decisions recently – such as that cringeworthy show of unity with Catherine outside their Wiltshire home – it seems Dominic, 51, could do with some sensible advice now more than ever.

The firm, Narrative PR, confirmed to me that they are on ‘hiatus’ with the actor, despite representing him for the past few years.

The agency, which has its head office in Toronto and whose other clients include Richard Madden, Andrea Riseborough and Margot Robbie, have represented West on several large projects, including Netflix drama Stateless.

West’s separation from Narrative comes after he was pictured gazing into the eyes of his Affair co-star, Lily, 31, over an alfresco lunch in the Italian capital last month.

Speculation was rife that he had split with Catherine, 49, the mother of four of his five children, last week following his tryst with Lily. However, the couple put on a united front as they were pictured going for a run together near their Cotswolds home.

Catherine broke her silence on the scandal on Friday when she said: ‘We’re fine, thank you very much, yes we are. Things are OK between us. We don’t need any advice from anyone, thank you.’

Lily, who last year split from Doctor Who star Matt Smith after five years together, has since kept a low profile at her North London home.
