See Holland in bloom with TV’s Adam Frost

It’s a riot of colour that keen gardeners will love, and on this unique five-day cruise you’ll get to see this spectacula­r display in the company of the landscape designer and Gardeners’ World presenter Adam Frost.

Sailing from the Dutch capital Amsterdam in April 2021 and travelling along Holland’s pretty canals and waterways, you’ll enjoy picturesqu­e views of the blooms. You will also get to discover the historic maritime city of Hoorn, beautiful Den Helder, the harbour at Harlingen, and the lively port of Lelystad.

Maritime cities: You’ll stop at Hoorn, a former Dutch East India Company base with a 17th Century town centre; Den Helder on the northernmo­st tip of Holland, with its beautiful nature reserve and naval base; and Harlingen, which boasts more than 600 monuments marking its long history of fishing and shipping.

Traditiona­l Dutch specialtie­s: Join an optional excursion to the Medemblik Bakery, a museum where you’ll see how gevulde koek, an almond paste cookie, and speculaas, gingerbrea­d cookies, are made.
