BATTLESTAR GALACTICA CLASSIC #1

IT’S been 40 years since the plight of the crew of the Battlestar Galactica was first aired on TV.

While the series enjoyed a superb revival in 2004, it’s the original classic which forms the basis of this new comic series.

With the ships joined by a second fleet of fugitives, Commander Adama sees the opportunity to strike back at the Cylons.

But striking back means giving up the chase for Earth, and treacherous Count Baltar is waiting in the wings.

Written by John Jackson Miller, with artwork by Daniel HDR, Battlestar Galactica Classic #1 is out now priced £3.35.

WALKING INTO CINEMAS

WALKING Dead fans mourning the departure of Andrew Lincoln from the series, are in for some good news.

Lincoln, who plays series star Rick Grimes, will continue in the role in three spin-off movies.

AMC revealed it’s launching a Walking Dead film series, with the first script being penned by TWD universe content officer Scott Gimple.

Production is set to start next year, with Gimple hoping to feature old faces from the series, and new characters.
