Sam Jeeves pulled a goal back for the home side early in the second half, but Brocton restored their three-goal advantage in the 61st minute when Williams converted an Owen Nolan corner.

Two minutes later it was 5-1 when Ben Haddaway thumped the ball home. Jeeves added another for Chelmsley, but Brocton won easily. UTTOXETER TOWN’S fivegame winning run in the league came to an end with a 2-1 home defeat by Stapenhill after some late drama.

Uttoxeter went in front in the 32nd minute when a freekick saw an effort hit the bar before Dougie Price scored from the rebound. Uttoxeter held the lead until the 81st minute when a Sam Birks cut back was driven into the net by Devante Reittie. Stapenhill snatched the points with a last-minute penalty by Reittie. STAFFORD TOWN lost 3-2 at Kirby Muxloe.

Kirby opened the scoring in the 25th minute when a long ball saw Dave Assuncao take the ball around keeper Joe Morris and slot into the empty net.

Two minutes later it was 2-0 as Assuncao set up Zakari Adams to score.

Four minutes after the interval Stafford were back in it when a Will Reid freekick saw the ball fall to Charlie Swingwood and he curled a fine effort into the top corner.

Kirby were awarded a penalty in the 55 th minute when Assuncao was fouled and he got up to make it 3-1. Stafford scored again in the 87th minute when a Reid cross was finished off by Anwar Olugbon, but they couldn’t force an equaliser.
