Smart digital solutions are key to survival

-

A Full-service digital agency has relocated to new premises after continuing to thrive during lockdown. Blink Digital was founded by Tracy Hollins, from Caverswall, three years ago and offers virtual online assistance – everything from PA to bookkeeping services. Over the years Tracy developed the business to offer a wide range of digital solutions which led to the launch of the Blink Digital brand.

And continued growth has seen the company relocate to Queen Street, Newcastle, to accommodate its team of seven staff – a move which should have taken place prior to lockdown.

Tracy said: “No sooner had we begun to put down our roots, we had to close and start working from home. We’d decided to set up the office so that we could work together and bounce ideas off each other, but we’d grown the business while home-working, so we were in a really good position to work productively through lockdown.”

Tracy believes that Blink Digital’s success in 2020 has been down to the development of smart digital solutions for companies, such as Stone-based Lymestone Brewery.

Blink transformed the brewery’s website within hours of the coronavirus lockdown to allow it to move from pubbased sales to online.

Viv Bradford, of Lymestone Brewery, said: “At the start of the pandemic we didn’t have sales through our website. Our sales were all directed at the pub trade and that disappeared overnight. “Blink Digital stepped in and in a matter of days we had a fully functioning website and online shop. This enabled us to get our products out direct to the consumer. “There’s no doubt that this prompt service saved our business.”

“Going forward, the website is continuing to grow and change to meet our needs and Blink Digital are with us every step of the way.”
