CHOCOLATES ON YOUR PILLOW – AND EVERYWHERE
TWO Midlands giants have teamed up to create the ultimate hotel room for chocolate lovers.
Staffordshire theme park Alton Towers and Birmingham-based chocolate giants Cadbury have created a chocolate factory-themed suite at the Moorlands resort – with lots of secret hideaways, tasty treats and exciting surprises.
The suite in the Alton Towers Hotel is decked out to look like the interior of a chocolate factory and is painted the iconic Cadbury purple.
It features pressure dials on the walls, pipes around the ceiling and bags of fake cocoa beans. Guests can also hunt for hidden chocolate and solve the clue to unlock the safe – where there are plenty more delicious delights.
The colourful room which sleeps up to six - also has a lounge area which features large cogs on the wall behind the Cadbury logo so guests can pretend they are controlling the chocolate factory.
Janet Gurr, hotels and accommodation development director, said: “We were really excited to partner with Cadbury to create our new chocolate room.
“After a fun-filled day of thrilling world-class rollercoasters and water rides, families can continue the magic in the chocolate factory-themed suite and hunt for the hidden chocolate bars.
“We pride ourselves on creating thrilling, memorable and innovative experiences and we’re sure our guests will love the latest addition in our portfolio of unique themed suites.”
The new suite is available from May 17. For more information about the Alton Towers Hotel Rooms and Suites and to book, visit www. altontowers.com.
