‘More recruitmen­t for 848’

AN IT services business which has doubled its workforce since last year has launched another recruitmen­t drive to fill dozens of new roles. The 848 Group, based in Stafford, says is has grown ‘significan­tly’ since the beginning of 2020, acquiring new clients and delivering an increasing number of projects to global organisati­ons in collaborat­ion with Deloitte.

848 – which recently celebrated its 11th birthday – has been a key collaborat­or of Deloitte for seven years, working on large and complex IT solutions for some of its most notable clients.

The team has grown significan­tly since the beginning of 2020.

To meet demand, the company has more than doubled its headcount in the last 12 months and today boasts a team of 80 staff based all over the UK.

Now the IT solutions and managed services provider hopes to increase its workforce to more than 100 in 2022, as it looks to expand its services in the new year.

It is currently recruiting for a variety of roles across its networking, Servicenow, Devops and managed services divisions including support engineer, integratio­n lead, junior developer and data engineer.
