THE WAY BBC1, 9pm

When this drama was first conceived by actor/director Michael Sheen and prolific writer James Graham (who penned Quiz and Sherwood), it was a completely fictional story set around job losses at the steelworks in the Welsh industrial town of Port Talbot. In the plot this would lead to civil unrest. Now with recent announcements about the Tata works in the area, the drama seems eerily prescient.

The story follows the Driscolls, one of many local families whose lives revolve around the plant. Young Owen (played by It’s A Sin’s Callum Scott Howells, pictured) is facing a mental health crisis, but as he battles his demons, his family is about to be swept up in chaos. Also starring Luke Evans and Aneurin Barnard.

There are more than 8.5 million crocodiles on the planet, and brutal attacks are on the rise.

Wildlife presenter Steve Backshall, pictured below, jets out to South Africa to better understand their difficult relationship with humans.

He shares memories of a near death experience with a croc, but somehow summons the bravery to help capture a croc with his bare hands as part of a rehoming project.

Plus, Steve realises crocodiles still need our protection, as the camera crew comes across poachers.
