Nature offers plenty of inspiration for minimeditations if you just pause for a while Watch the movement of water in a stream, waterfall, puddle or even raindrops on a window. Listen out for the loud birdsong that follows a rain shower. Take off your shoes, lay your head on a grassy hill or lean your back against a tree. Pick wild flowers and edible plants while out walking and rub the soil between your fingers. Look up and notice the clouds. As you get used to the variations you’ll be able to predict the weather. Scatter some sunshine seeds. Meadow buttercup, Corn Marigold and St John’s Wort will bring a burst of yellow in summer.
