They take pitching a tent in the garden to a new level here; there’s a lawn obviously, a kitchen to hand, use of a lounge in the owners’ house and a proper bathroom. Lee and Jane opened their site to persuade walkers to stay in this little corner of Yorkshire instead of rushing on to the Peaks or the Dales. It’s handy for the Trans Pennine Trail and the market town, with a station, is just down the hill.
