TEA INDIA’S NEW AYURVEDIC RANGE IS BRIGHTENING UP TEA BREAKS WITH ITS DELICIOUS DOSHA-TAILORED BLENDS

-

We’ve come a long way from ‘milk and two sugars’… Tea drinking in the UK is as varied a part of our lives as the food we eat and the clothes we wear – from builder’s tea to herbal, to chai, loose leaf or bagged. As a response to tea drinkers’ growing interest in health and wellness, Tea India has created a new range of ayurvedic blends. Caffeine-free and delicious, each blend has been created to meet different needs and suit different doshas, with a little help from ayurvedic health practitioner Geeta Vara.

MEET THE BLENDS

Peace & Calm A soothing cuppa for the sleep deprived, this blend of camomile, peppermint, fennel, coriander and rose petal is an ideal bedtime tonic, best suited to those with a pitta dosha. Fennel is known for its ability to ease muscle tension, while camomile has a calming effect on your nervous system. And relax…

Harmony & Balance For those with a vata dosha, this blend of fennel, cinnamon, ginger and tulsi is specifically blended to be kind to your digestive system and restore balance in the body. Tulsi is also called holy basil and is a prized herb in ayurvedic medicine.

Vitality & Energy Turmeric, tulsi, cinnamon and ginger create a warming blend to boost energy levels, aid digestion and circulation. Just the thing for those with a kapha dosha, most likely to be in need of a little extra vitality.

IT BEGAN WITH CHAI

You may already know of fast-growing UK brand, Tea India, which launched five years ago with chai blends created by master blenders Jimmy Jal Medhora and Chirayu Borooah. Made with the finest assam and a blend of spices, the awardwinning range includes four chai flavours: traditional Masala, as well as Coconut, Cardamom and Ginger. Their new ayurvedic teas are just as lovingly crafted – moving away from black tea to introduce exciting herbal blends.
