Clapped out?
FOR a party which made such a big fuss about clapping at the start of this Westminster session, the SNP wasn’t so forthcoming during David Cameron’s last appearance at the Commons.
As nearly everyone else got to their feet and clapped the ex-Prime Minister the SNP ranks largely refused to join in.
It was pointed out to Alex Salmond all opposition parties in Holyrood stood and clapped him when he stood down as First Minister in 2014 – but not so says the former SNP leader.
Labour’s Jackie Baillie apparently greeted the news with a rendition of “Cheerio, cheerio!” across the Chamber.
