Shear delight

SKYE MP Ian Blackford may have been sweltering in the London heat last night, but he was smiling too.

For the decent weather across the country meant that, while he was making a well-received speech in the debate on the UK’s nuclear weapons, his wife back in his constituency was dealing with what really matters – shearing the family’s flock of sheep.

Ian, a somewhat cuddly chap, was well pleased to not be involved in the hot, hard work of giving the beasts their summer haircut.
