Trump warning

SCOTTISH Labour leader Kezia Dugdale has claimed the shock Brexit vote shows the “nightmare scenario” of a Donald Trump presidency could become a reality.

Speaking on visit to the US, Miss Dugdale said the circumstances ahead of both votes had parallels.

She said: “Too many people, in the UK, the US and right across the world, feel they have no hope – the status quo is just as risky as taking a leap into the unknown.

“In situations like that, reckless populists such as Donald Trump thrive.”
