A LONG-LOST demo disc the Beatles sent to Cilla Black has been rediscovered after 52 years.

The song, It’s For You, reached No. 7 in the charts in 1964.

With the advent of digitally-recorded music, such creations have been consigned to the history books.

It’s hard to imagine anyone half a century from now getting excited about a lost computer file.
