James’ cool idea has snowballed

-

JAMES KARAGIANNIS’ modest business is selling ice cream treats from a small fridge on his bike on the streets of Buffalo in New York.

The Ice Cream Dude, as he’s known, noticed that many children were unable to afford the 70p fee for a frozen snack.

So he came up with an offer – any child can receive a free ice cream from the Ice Cream Dude if they successfully answer a maths or history question.

Big-hearted James often drops heavy hints to those young folk who struggle to answer.

His idea has been a hit – and now James has been flooded with donations from around the world.

There’s so much money been donated – upwards of £5000 – James is unsure what to do with it all.

“I’m terrified to look,” he said. “That’s a lot of ice cream to give out.”
