Taliban advances

AFGHAN security forces are preparing a counter-offensive after the Taliban seized control of a district in the war torn country.

Taliban fighters took control of part of north-eastern Kunduz province following fierce fighting.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed that the fighters captured the entire district along with weapons and military vehicles.
