IT’S bad enough that I have to listen to bad busking bagpipers droning out Old Macdonald or off tune wailings of Oasis every minute of my working day, but a march past my Buchanan Street office by claxon-blaring protestors had me wanting to hurl myself out the window.

“What do we want?” “Justice for Jannies!” “When do we want it?” “Now!”

I screamed back: “Schools are back! So why aren’t you? Stop playing truant! Now!”
