Second go for Emily on X Factor
SCOTS youngster Emily Middlemas is praying it will be second time lucky on this year’s X Factor.
The Glasgow girl was 15 when she was on the show in 2014 and made it all the way to judges’ houses. But Cheryl felt Emily was just too young.
Tonight, though, hopes are high that the singer will wow the judges as she auditions again – and that she’ll go even further.
“The audition was really scary but I went away and worked so hard and I’ve come back stronger,” Emily, now 17, told The Sunday Post.
“I feel more confident within myself and more ready now.”
Emily says that while she never really gave up on her musical ambitions, the unwavering support of mum and dad Lisa and John kept her going through dark times.
