Husband’s kiss was a sign of reassurance

-

Dear June

I LOST my husband four years ago after 51 years of marriage.

A strange thing happened shortly after he passed.

I was in the garden and the dog started going ballistic and barking, firstly at my husband’s bedroom then in the direction of the patio doors.

I was scared and couldn’t bring myself to look.

Many people receive visitations shortly after a loss as a loved one tries to communicate that they are close by.

My interpretation of your visitation is he kissed you to reassure you of his love for you.

Pushing away your chin would be his way of telling you to carry on with your life.

He’ll be waiting for you when your time eventually comes.
