LEAGUE leaders Forfar came from behind twice to maintain their spot at the top of League 2.

Elgin scored in 22 minutes when Chris McLeish forced his way through to shoot past Grant Adam from 12 yards.

Forfar levelled soon after with Tam O’Brien’s 25-yarder.

In 42 minutes, Elgin restored their lead when Craig Gunn easily slotted home a cross.

Early in the second half, Forfar levelled as Josh Peters slammed the ball home from just inside the box. Then the Loons netted what proved to be the winner in the 64th minute with a brilliant run and finish by O’Brien.
