THE much-missed comedy set within Grace Brothers department store returns in a one-off special, part of a BBC series celebrating some of the most popular sitcoms of all time.

It’s 1988 and Young Mr Grace is determined to drag the business into, well, 1988.

However, he has a problem on his hands as his key employees all seem to be stuck in another era.

A new member of staff, Mr Conway, joins the team, but will he help shake things up?

Sherrie Hewson assumes the mantle of Mrs Slocombe alongside Jason Watkins as Mr Humphries and John Challis as Captain Peacock, while Gavin and Stacey’s Mathew Horne takes on the unlikely role of Young Mr Grace.
