Murderer’s previous escape bids

THIS latest bizarre incident isn’t the only time Michael Ross has tried to escape jail.

As well as breaking free from court while being sentenced in 2008, he also tried to evade prison guards during a hospital visit in 2014.

The racist killer’s bid for freedom came days after he lost an appeal against his conviction.

He was said to have attacked two G4S workers in a van after arriving at Wishaw General, Lanarkshire, from Shotts prison.

It was claimed he hit one in the face, inflicting minor injuries, before the security staff overpowered him. G4S later told The Sunday Post that no one was badly injured as a result of the incident.
