Bad-boy Barton is a bit of a Twitter

-

LIKE an overactive budgie, Joey Barton cannot stop tweeting!

Nor it seems ruffling the feathers of his current employers Rangers FC.

Not when he has a book on criminal fiction to plug!

Joey once did bird – and he also once played great football! But this angry bird seems to have forgotten that particular skill and now prefers dropping a burst ball on all and sundry.

Be rest assured, though, he will soon have his wings clipped and a blanket thrown over his cage for his flutter at the bookies.

CREATIVE SCOTLAND was certainly being creative with our money when it was uncovered that it had granted hard-working “ethical” adult entertainer Vex Ashley £31,000 to allow her to set up a free workshop in Glasgow’s mega- funded Centre for Contemporary Arts for those whose naked ambition is to learn how to make their own saucy films.

Fair enough, if the ups and downs of this billion-dollar industry tickles your fancy – but let’s not call it art!

What vexes me is that Vex can get money for her controversial top shelf idea but popular charitable national events like the Scottish Music Awards funding requests are . . . shelved!
