Are EU joking?

DAFT job titles have been de rigueur in politics for years now but Brexit appears to have given the trend some extra zest.

The internal Civil Service shorthand for the Department for Exiting the EU is known in Whitehall circles as “DexEU”.

In addition, the shorthand for the Secretary of State for Exiting the EU, David Davis, is “SoSexEU”.

Spoken out loud, the job title is a bit of an eye-opener and unlikely to catch on.
