Rats! There’s something in my meal

SURPRISES are a good thing, right?

Surprise parties, surprise gifts, that kind of thing.

But a surprise rat’s head is a whole different kettle of rodent noggins.

A New Jersey woman was tucking into a fried chicken meal at an eatery in Harlem when she says she cam across the unappetising addition to her grub.

Rosemary Thomas posted a photo of the meal on Facebook and claimed the experience made her daughter sick.

She also said she still had the rat head.

Well, it’s nice to take home a souvenir of a meal out. Not so much a doggy bag as a ratty bag.

The manager of the food joint has he ordered a health department inspection and said they though the “head” is it is most likely chicken organ meat.

So that’s all right then. Lovely organ meat. Yummy.
