MADE TO WAIT

AROUND one in eight homeowners have admitted they had to stay put in a property they wanted to leave for more than three years before finally making a move.

In a survey by Tepilo, 12.6% of people said they had to delay their big move much longer than they would have wanted. Not being able to afford the moving costs was the most common reason.
