Fans react to Robert’s hairstyle
ROBERT Carlyle’s new hairdo has caused great debate with fans in America after he cut off his long locks on the screen.
The Trainspotting 2 star who plays Begbie in the film franchise and had to chop his hair for the remake a few months ago, has always sported long locks in US drama Once Upon A Time.
His evil fairytale character Rumpelstiltskin has had long, straggly hair up until this week when programme makers decided to give him an on-screen hair cut instead of making him wear a wig.
It was the first time on screen that his overseas fans got to see his character with the changed look.
Many fans claimed he looked younger, while others were unimpressed.
