Post Office strike row

UNIONS have hit back at Post Office managers who claimed that it was “business as usual” despite a strike.

Management said most of the network was operating as normal yesterday but unions reported solid support for the industrial action.

The walkout was in protest at job losses and the closure of a final salary pension scheme.
