APPEARING on Strictly Come Dancing may have rejuvenated the flagging career of Ed Balls, but there is no chance of that ever happening with his former instructor Tony Blair.

Strictly speaking his days of bedazzling and grinning and spinning the electorate are over and any suggestion that he should also waltz on to this show should be paso doble’d over – quicktime.

Dancing on thin ice might be worth considering.
