Lift-off for Phil

CHANCELLOR Philip Hammond graced Holyrood with his presence last week to talk all things Brexit with the First Minister.

But it seems Spreadsheet Phil’s venture north of the Border didn’t fill everyone with glee. The SNP’s head of communications, Fergus Mutch, was booted out of the lift by security guards at the Scottish Parliament to make way for the Top Tory.

“Use the bloody stairs Phil ,” the comms chief tweeted. Good to see everyone is making new pals.
