More banter, less action

GOOD to see Norris (Malcolm Hebden, above)) back on Corrie, albeit in a bit of a daft storyline.

Characters like Norris Mary, Rita, Gail, Leanne, Roy, Eileen, Audrey and Liz are the backbone of the street.

I prefer scenes where these stalwarts simply swap banter to the action-packed storylines where people are killed and horribly maimed.

More old faves are returning shortly, including Toyah Battersby and Rosie Webster, so here’s to more gossip in the corner shop, less sensationalism on the street.
