BONUS BONDS

HARD-PRESSED savers have been offered some hope, with a new market-leading savings bond set to launch next year.

NS & I (National Savings and Investments) will offer a new three-year investment bond with a rate of around 2.2% from spring 2017.

The bond will allow customers to put away savings of between £100 and £3000.
