Tracey is an exceptional human being

-

TRACEY JOLLIFFE believes that people should do all they can to make life as happy as possible for others.

The way she chooses to do this makes her remarkable. She gives parts of her body.

She donates blood, stem cells, eggs for childless couples, and even a kidney. She next plans to give away part of her liver.

She doesn’t know the people she helps but hates to see others in trouble and finds that she cannot stand aside.

Tracey is an example to us all. If every one of us did as she does, then the world would be a better place.

To fully appreciate Tracey’s generosity you have to look at her actions from the other side, from the point of view of those receiving blood, eggs, cells or a kidney.

If your child or grandchild were to be given the gift of life from a stranger, your gratitude would be unbounded.

If your life was prolonged by her selflessness then what wouldn’t you give in return?

Tracey may never know the full extent of what she has done and will probably never be thanked in person by those to whom she has given life.

But on behalf of those people, The Sunday Post would like to thank Tracey.

She has done great deeds in her life, she is truly a hero. She deserves to be recognised as an exceptional human being.

Tracey is the embodiment of an old saying: you get the best out of life if you give the best of yourself.
